Vegan Buttercream

Ingredients:

  • 225g SAGANÀ Coconut Spread
  • 400g powdered sugar
  • 4 tbsp coconut milk
  • pinch of salt
  • Optional: 2 tbsp cocoa powder

Instructions:

Using a hand or stand mixer with the paddle attachment, beat the butter on medium to high speed for about 5 minutes until smooth and creamy. Add 50 g powdered sugar and beat at medium-low speed until most of the sugar is moistened. Gradually add the remaining sugar, mixing well after each addition, and scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed.

Add salt and coconut milk, one tablespoon at a time, beating at medium speed until fully incorporated. Adjust the amount of coconut milk to your taste. Increase the speed to medium-high and beat until light and fluffy. For a chocolate version, mix in cocoa powder.
